Originated out of Rome, capital of Italy in 1927, AS Roma is one of the most competitive and successful clubs in Serie A. Its stadium Olimpico takes over 72,000 people and 2nd largest in Italy after San Siro in Milano. All Italians are so, the fans of AS Rome are more particularly passionate and devoted to the club. Running Hanwha Solar advertisements in the home stadium for the 2011-12 season helped set the positive image of Hanwha and the need of next generation, environment friendly energy to the fans in Italy as well as in Europe.
Being one of the most established football clubs in English Premier League when it comes to environmental awareness, Bolton Wanderers FC and Hanwha shared a natural synergy. Through the partnership in the 2011-12 season, Hanwha helped to educate fans about the benefits of solar energy - even in the places that tend to get odd spots of rain.

Everton FC, based in Liverpool, England, has a record of competing the most seasons in EPL. The club definitely has significance symbolizing the history and traditions of the league. Its home stadium Goodison Park gets filled with over 30,000 royal fans every home match. Targeting the European solar market, out of EPL, Everton FC and Bolton Wanderers, Hanwha was able to bring more people's attention to the green issues.

Belonging to La Liga, one of the world's three football leagues along with EPL and Serie A, FC Barcelona has fought fiercely for its current top position since inception in 1928. With over 70 million fans in Europe and 80 titles in the national and international competitions, FC Barcelona is inarguably world's no. 1 football club. In order to build Hanwha's brand presence and awareness about solar energy, HanwhaSolar showcased itself in all of their away matches in the 2011-12 season.
Hanwha signed a sponsorship agreement with Hamburger SV, one of the most prestigious soccer clubs with a 126-year history. Hanwha began full-scale sports marketing such as stadium branding and fan promotions in Germany which is one of the biggest global solar markets and expects to build up brand equity in European market. In partnership with Hamburger SV, Hanwha installed solar power systems on the rooftop of Osterbek School in Hamburg, providing clean power and teaching the value of renewable energy to the students.
Juventus Football Club S.p.A is a professional Italian association football club based in Turin, Piedmont. The club is the third oldest of its kind in the country and has spent the majority of its history in the top flight First Division, known as Serie A since 1929. Juventus FC has a predominant presence in its Italian Serie A league. Juventus has won 31 league titles and 26 additional European and international titles.
RB Leipzig is a young and aspiring football club located in the eastern part of Germany, about two hours southwest of Berlin. The club was founded in 2009 and made its way from the fifth division to the Bundesliga – one of the top leagues in Europe – by winning four promotions within seven years.

Hanwha Finance Classic
The Hanwha Finance Classic gives people yet another excuse to hit the golf course with a friend, colleague or client. A highly competitive annual golf tournament, with the largest cash prize of any such competition in Korea, it is the successor of the Hanwha Seoul Women's Open, which ran for 8 years from 1990. The event is made possible through the sponsorship of seven of our Finance sector affiliates such as Hanwha Life who altogether comprise the Hanwha Finance Network and provide a full-line of financial services to meet personal and corporate financial needs.

Team Hanwha Q Cells
Hanwha Q CELLS Women's Professional Golf Team was established in 2018. The members of Team Hanwha Q CELLS will show outstanding performance around the world and bring as many victories as possible to the team.
Our very own professional baseball club, Hanwha Eagles, won the Korean series in 1999. Since its foundation in 1986, the club has produced many legendary players throughout its history, including Hyun-Jin Ryu, the first ever KBO player to go directly to MLB.

Our award-winning team was founded in February 2001 aiming to promote the less popular sport, and to nurture domestic talent for international events including World championships and Olympic Games.
Hanwha Q CELLS Begins Sponsorship in Golf
In 2018, Hanwha Q CELLS initiated a golf sponsorship by taking over the Team Hanwha professional golf team, renaming it Team Hanwha Q CELLS.
The team was originally established in March 2011, and has captured a total of twenty-two trophies ever since from leagues like LPGA, JLPGA and LET. The team shot to fame in 2017 by effectively winning a total of ten trophies from the leagues in Korea, Japan and the U.S.
Coincidentally, Hanwha Q CELLS’ main market of business is located in Korea, Japan, the U.S. and Europe. Hanwha Q CELLS is looking forward to amplifying its brand power through the sponsorship of Team Hanwha Q CELLS.
Under Hanwha Q CELLS’ sponsorship, Team Hanwha Q CELLS will continue recruit talented players and develop a systematic support system for the team’s success in a wide range of leagues. Hanwha Q CELLS aims to help the team prosper, which will help boost brand awareness and the company’s position in the global market.
RB Leipzig Sponsorship
Hanwha Q CELLS has become international partner of the football club RB Leipzig starting with the 2017/18 season. RB Leipzig is a young and aspiring football club located in the eastern part of Germany, about two hours southwest of Berlin. The club was founded in 2009 and made its way from the fifth division to the Bundesliga – one of the top leagues in Europe – by winning four promotions within seven years. The “Red Bulls” – as the club is called by their family friendly and enthusiastic fans – stormed the Bundesliga in their very first season, finishing second behind powerhouse Bayern Munich. As the youngest team of the league, the squad qualified for Europe’s most prestigious football stage, the Champions League.
The partnership is contracted for two years and includes an option for renewal. Hanwha Q CELLS, with its product brand Q CELLS, will be present as a partner of the Red Bulls for national and international advertising measures among other things, including LED perimeter ads and cam-carpets positioned next to the goals as well as the coaching benches of the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. The partnership with RB Leipzig will help us to increase our brand awareness among power consumers in Germany, Europe, and the rest of world, and to expand our customer base as well as our partnership network. It is a true a win-win partnership, which offers enormous potential for both parties.
San Francisco Giants Sponsorship
Since 2012, Hanwha, a global leading solar energy company, has been the official solar partner of the San Francisco Giants which is one of the most revered ball clubs in the Major League Baseball (MLB).
The San Francisco Giants won the World Series in 2014, and it is worth noting that the Giants had won the World Series the very year that Hanwha had become the official solar partner in 2012. The list of accolades does not stop there. The Giants are committed to promoting sustainability and clean energy for the local community.
The club was recognized as the most environmentally conscious team by receiving the Green Glove, an award given to the team with excellence in environmental sustainability, 8 years in a row.
To energize and improve the lives of Giants fans and all Bay Area residents, Hanwha chose to make this partnership based on more than just baseball and kick started a series of green initiative campaigns titled, ‘I SUN SF’, which further contributed to the Giants’ legacy of environmental responsibility.
